Below are common questions and concerns we hear from our patients. Because everyone’s situation is unique, please feel free to call for a free phone consultation so that we can help you find the right solution.

How do I schedule an appointment?
Call to set up an appointment (510-540-7816). Deena offers a free 10-minute phone consultation to go over any questions you may have.

Tell me about your office.
We have a waiting area that we make comfortable for anyone who accompanies you to your appointments. Please do not bring young children unless you make prior arrangements.

Our office is wheelchair accessible.

There is two hour street parking.

Can I come directly to Move Easy Physical Therapy?
In California, clients may go directly to a physical therapist for private pay without a doctor’s referral or prescription. Most insurance companies, however, require a doctor’s referral or prescription.

Can my doctor or chiropractor refer me to your office?
Yes, you will need your doctor or chiropractor to write you a prescription to be seen at Move Easy Physical Therapy, which includes the diagnosis, doctor’s signature, date, and treatment instructions.

Can my visit be covered by my health insurance?
Move Easy does accept some PPO health insurance. We are not a member of any health networks or HMO’s. Please contact your health insurance company to determine your out-of-network coverage for physical therapy.

Move Easy Physical Therapy also accepts private pay.

Payment is expected at each appointment unless other arrangements are made.

We are able to provide you medical receipts for Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).

Move Easy Physical Therapy is not however covered by Workers Compensation, Medicare, or Medi-Cal.

Is there private pay?
Yes; you may come directly to our office without a doctor’s referral. Please call to make an appointment and you will be able to pay directly by cash, check, or credit card.

If I am in an accident, will my car insurance cover Physical Therapy?

Yes, physical therapy is an important part of your care after a car accident or personal injury. First, you will need to see your primary care physician and get a prescription for physical therapy.
